A man is in the hospital after he was trapped underneath a DART train in South Dallas Monday evening, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. Monday at the DART station in the 1300 block of Morrell Avenue in Dallas.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said authorities used the "Jaws of Life" to lift the train car high enough to pull the man free. He was transported to Methodist Charlton Medical Center with undisclosed injuries to his lower body.
DART trains resumed their regular schedules within an hour.
