A pedestrian died early Thursday in downtown Dallas after being struck by a DART bus.
The 53-year-old man had just stepped off of a bus at about 6:45 a.m. when he crossed a driveway near the intersection of Griffin and San Jacinto in the West End and was struck by a second bus.
The man was wearing a hoodie and DART officials speculate that may have prevented the man from seeing the second bus.
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was transported to Parkland Hospital in Dallas where he later died.
