A jury has sentenced a North Texas man to life in prison for repeatedly molesting as many as eight girls.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Gregg Wesley MacIntosh's victims ranged in age from 5 to 12.

A state district court jury convicted the 42-year-old MacIntosh on Thursday of continuous sexual assault of children. The jury then deliberated for only 12 minutes before sentencing him to the maximum penalty allowable.

He is not eligible for parole.

The victims were either relatives, friends of relatives, or the children of women the Arlington man dated.
