A North Texas man has been sentenced to a 40-year prison term for sexually assaulting his daughter for more than a decade.
A Parker County prosecutor says the assaults resulted in a child, a miscarriage and two abortions.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram did not publish the name of the man in order to protect the victim and her child.
The 48-year-old pleaded guilty May 10th to aggravated sexual assault of a child. He must serve half his sentence before being eligible for parole.
The man's attorney, Mac Smith, declined to comment.
