A man held a cell phone to his ear as he walked into the Washington Mutual bank located in the 2200 block of Cross Timbers Road Monday at about 5:30 p.m. and demanded money through a note, Flower Mound police said.

Police said the man handed the teller a note that said, “Give me the money and nothing below the counter, I have a gun.” After receiving money from the teller the man walked out of the building and headed south.

No weapon was displayed during the course of the robbery, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Flower Mound Police Department at 972-874-3307.
