A man trapped in a trench in Frisco is hospitalized after being pulled to safety Tuesday.
The man became trapped shortly after 1 p.m. in a trench along Main Street between Hillcrest and Coit.
Main Street was closed while the rescue operation was under way approximately 15 feet below the surface.
At about 2 p.m., the man was pulled from the trench and transported by CareFlite to an area hospital. The extent of the man's injuries are not yet known.
