Pedestrian Not Injured After Being Struck on Interstate 30 in Rowlett

Police said a pedestrian was not injured after being struck by a vehicle in Rowlett Tuesday night.

Rowlett police they responded to a call from a person who said their mirror struck a pedestrian on westbound Interstate 30 at about 10 p.m.

The driver and a witness stopped and were present when officers arrived, according to authorities.

Police said the victim walked away from the scene and was not found after officers searched the area.

The victim's parents called police Wednesday morning and said the victim was not injured.
