Dallas Police are looking for several people after an overnight robbery turned deadly in west Oak Cliff.
Officers were called to 4618 Lizzy Drive just after midnight on Monday to reports of a robbery. When they arrived they found 54-year-old Jessie Barragan dead inside a bedroom of the home.
According to the Dallas police, the Barragan's adult daughter was in the front yard when four men approached her at gun point. They forced their way inside the home and a confrontation ensued inside.
That confrontation led to gunshots.
Police said the motive was robbery, but they have no immediate descriptions of the men who fled after the shooting.
No one else was injured in the home invasion. Investigators are still working to determine if anything was actually taken from inside the home.
