Garland police are investigating after a man was found killed inside a unit at the Colonial Apartments in the 500 block of Flook Street on Thursday.
Officers making a welfare check at about 12:30 p.m. found the man, identified as 69-year-old Robert Mills, dead on the floor of an apartment.
Investigators said evidence at the scene suggests Mills was involved in a struggle before his death.
The exact cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.
