Body Found Inside Burning Big-Rig Trailer at Fort Worth Steakhouse

Investigators believe the man was homeless

Fort Worth firefighters found the body of a man inside an 18-wheeler trailer that caught on fire Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the Rig Steakhouse on the 6300-block of South Freeway, just south of Interstate 20, at about 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found the burning trailer, but did not know someone was inside.

Police said they believe the man is homeless and was allowed to stay in the trailer by the restaurant's owners.

The man's identity has not yet been determined.

Fire investigators, including arson units, are on scene. While police said they have no indication there was any foul play, they admit it's very early in the investigation.

The restaurant was not significantly damaged from the fire.
