Authorities said a man was fatally struck by a vehicle when he tried to cross a street in Dallas Wednesday.
Dallas Fire-Rescue officials said the man was crossing in the 2600 block of Hampton Road when he was struck by a 2003 Mercedes just before 6 a.m.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to officials.
Firefighters said the Mercedes driver stayed at the scene. No charges have been filed.
