Dallas police said a man was shot and killed after a fight outside of a convenience store Wednesday night.[[296062571,L]]
Officers responded to a shooting call at the convenience store on the 1000 block of West Camp Wisdom Road at about 8:15 p.m. and found 30-year-old Norron Batts shot in the parking lot, according to police.
Batts and an unknown man were involved in a physical fight when the man drew a gun and shot him, Dallas Police Department spokeswoman Melinda Gutierrez said.
The man then fled the scene in Batts' Chevrolet Heritage High Roof.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Batts to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police said they're still investigating the shooting and interviewing witnesses.
