A man has died after accidentally falling from the third level of a downtown Dallas parking garage while with some friends.

At about 1 a.m., Gary Ray Gribble, 26, from Quinlan, met up with some friends after work for a drink and then decided to ride their bicycles down the Katy Trail to Victory Park.

Gribble and his friends rode to the top of a parking garage near the W Hotel where they planned to pose for a picture.  Gribble climbed over a steel cable fence that led to an unfenced area of the garage his friends told police he lost his balance and fell 25 feet to the ground below.

Investigators were able to obtain security footage from the garage and do not believe any foul play was involved in Gribble's death.

NBCDFW's Amanda Guerra contributed to this report.
