A man was killed in Dallas Wednesday after being crushed by a large steel beam.
The man was working with a crew to load the beams onto a tractor-trailer on the 10000-block of Spangler Road, a block west of the intersection of Northwest Highway and Loop 12.
One of the beams fell and crushed the man to death just before 2 p.m.
