Man Critically Injured in Fort Worth Shooting

A 20-year-old man has been hospitalized following a shooting in Fort Worth, EMS officials say.

According to MedStar Ambulance, they transported a critically injured patient to Harris Methodist Hospital who had been shot in the torso.

The shooting was reported to have taken place at a home on the 600 block of Sandy Trail, not far from Interstate 30 and East Loop 820.

The man's injury was considered life-threatening; his current condition and what led to the shooting is not known.
