Man Charged With Sexual Assault at Sleepover

A North Texas man has been charged with sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl during his stepchild's sleepover.

The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reported that 52-year-old David Ramos of Slaton was charged Tuesday. A Lubbock County grand jury indicted him on a first-degree felony charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Authorities said the girl was at Ramos' home for a sleepover when he entered the room where she was sleeping and sexually assaulted her.

Ramos is being held at the Lubbock County jail on $100,000 bond. Online jail records didn't indicate an attorney.
