Police say they were called to an accident at Hangout Bar and Grill in the 3300 block of North Central Expressway at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Officers say a white sedan hit four people in the parking lot and left the scene.

Investigators say they have not determined if the crash was accidental or intentional.

Newman is in the Collin County Jail charged with driving while intoxicated and causing an accident involving injury. Bond for both charges totals $110,000.
