A man has been arrested for shooting at several Fort Worth police vehicles.

Luis Felipe Gallegos, 19, is in custody in connection with burglarizing and vandalizing the patrol cars.

Three different times last week, at least three unoccupied police vehicles were hit by multiple rounds of gunfire and an AR-15 rifle had been stolen.

No one was injured during any of the shootings.

Officials believe the three incidents are related.

Multiple weapons were used during the shootings, including the stolen rifle. However, ballistic results will determine if it was one of the guns used.

The Fort Worth Police Department has recovered the AR-15 and continues to investigate, but they said there will be additional charges and possibly more arrests.
