Man Accused of Shooting Video of Women in Public Places Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges: Police

Alexander Martinez faces three charges of sexual assault and one of invasive visual recording

A man police say shot hundreds of videos of women in public places across North Texas was arrested Wednesday on sexual assault charges, according to the Lake Worth Police Department.

Police said Alexander Martinez will face three sexual assault charges and one charge of invasive visual recording.

Martinez, 32, was also arrested in March for invasive visual recording when he was accused of taping a mother and her children in a Target dressing room, according to NBC 5's media partner The Dallas Morning News.

When police searched Martinez's home in April, they found hundreds of videos of strangers in dressing rooms, shot through windows and up skirts.

During the April search, police said they found drugs and charged Martinez with possession of illegal substance. He was released from jail after he posted bond.

Lake Worth police ask anyone who thinks they have been one of Martinez's victims to call 817-709-7086.
