Dallas county sheriff's department officials confirmed that they arrested a man accused of killing his girlfriend Saturday night.
Deputies said 44-year-old Tosha Shaniqua Pruitt was shot in the driveway of a home in the 600 block of Geller Road at about 11:35 p.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Late Sunday night, department officials said they arrested Rodney Keeton in connection with the shooting.
It's not known what led to the argument and Pruitt's death.
Relatives told NBC 5 that Pruitt and Keeton have been together for two years and have two children together.
