Robert Vidal, the former director of the Wise County Pee Wee Football Association, was arrested Monday.
Vidal is accused of stealing $8,500 dollars from the organization.
The charges are reminiscent of another North Texas youth sports executive who is charged with stealing from the community coffers.
Claudia Yamell Castillo is charged with stealing more than $20,000 from the Southeast Arlington Little League's business account. That league shut down following the discovery of the alleged embezzlement.
The Texas Rangers baseball team donated funds to help that organization get back to shouting "play ball."
