Fort Worth firefighters said a 70-year-old driver was injured after crashing into one of their fire trucks on Interstate 35W Monday morning.
Authorities said the fire truck was parked behind another emergency vehicle at the scene of a separate crash on northbound I-35W when a man driving a pickup truck collided with the fire truck.
The pickup truck driver was pinned in his vehicle after the crash. Firefighters said they rescued him and transported him to a hospital. His condition was not released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
