Man, 19, Arrested in Shooting That Left 2 Dead, 5 Injured: Fort Worth Police

Police said they arrested a 19-year-old man after a shooting that left two people dead and five more injured in Fort Worth late Wednesday night.

Fort Worth police said the shooting happened at a dance studio inside a warehouse in the 2400 block of East Lancaster Avenue at 11:54 p.m.

Officers arrived at 12:32 a.m. Thursday and found that several people had been shot and the shooters had fled the scene.

Investigators said an argument occurred inside the warehouse and shots were fired as a person tried to run outside. Several people began shooting at each other outside the warehouse, striking multiple victims.

The victims were transported to hospitals by private vehicle and MedStar ambulances, according to police.

Police said they arrested documented gang member Tommy Lee Ward in connection with the shooting and charged him with murder.
