Lyrid Meteor Shower Saturday Night

As the sky clears out tonight, you can catch a very good meteor shower … and all you have to do is get away from city lights, pull out your favorite lawn chair or blanket, and look up!

The Lyrid meteor shower will peak tonight with 10 to 20 meteors per hour possible.

The Lyrid meteors radiate from between the Lyra and Hercules constellations.

This constellation pair will be high in the night sky tonight. Plus, without a moon in the sky, the conditions will be ideal for viewing.

Just make sure you bundle up! Temperatures will drop into the 40s overnight tonight.
