The first production model USAF F-35 Lightning II is now at home Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

The Lockheed-Martin built craft will be used at Eglin as a training aircraft until more are completed.

The production model is fully operational and combat ready.

Most of work done on the F-35 fighters happens at Lockheed's factory in Fort Worth.
