Laura Bush, Daughter to Speak at Dallas Luncheon

Former first lady Laura Bush and daughter Jenna Bush Hager are to speak at a Dallas luncheon benefiting a nonprofit group that provides early childhood education and support to at-risk Hispanic families.

Bush and Hager are the scheduled keynote speakers at the luncheon Friday that serves as a fundraiser for the Dallas chapter of Avance.

Former President George W. Bush and Laura Bush moved to Dallas after he left office in 2009.

Hager and twin sister Barbara Bush spoke earlier this month at a Dallas fundraising luncheon benefiting the Nexus Recovery Center. That's a not-for-profit substance abuse treatment center for women and adolescent girls.

Hager is a contributing correspondent on NBC's "Today" show. She and her sister live in New York City.
