Fort Worth is now home to a new museum honoring the military service of American men and women.

The Warren G. Alberts Military History Center started out as a personal quest for one man to learn more about his grandfather.
Over a 12-year period, Tyler Alberts has collected countless military artifacts which are now on display.

"I decided after I started this project, since I had never worn a uniform, that this would be my service to my country," said Tyler.

The museum officially opens to the public on July 17.
