Two concertgoers were robbed in the West End after they got turned around on a Dallas Area Rapid Transit rail line.
The women, both DART rookies, were trying to get back to the their cars in North Dallas after Keith Urban's Sunday show at the American Airlines Center but got on a Red Line train going in the opposite direction.
By the time the women realized their mistake, it was midnight, and the trains had stopped running for the night.
Police said two men in a maroon sedan pulled up alongside them as they were walking toward the House of Blues to call a cab and grabbed their purses.
“When the driver came toward me, I didn't let go,” Amy Lancaster said. “It was like I was a boomerang -- he threw me in a 180 and threw me to the cement."
Lancaster had a concussion and spent much of the morning at Baylor Medical Center recovering. She has bruises up and down her arm and a cut on her head.
“I really do wish I would have never gotten on that train,” she said.
Lancaster said she will drive to concerts in the future.
