Jurors are set to start deliberating punishment for a Houston woman convicted of murder for fatally stabbing her boyfriend with the 5 1/2-inch stiletto heel of her shoe.

Closing arguments in the punishment phase of the trial of Ana Trujillo are set for Friday.

The Harris County jury found Tuesday guilty in last June's killing of 59-year-old Alf Stefan Andersson at his Houston condominium. Prosecutors say she pinned him down and stabbed him at least 25 times with her shoe.

On Thursday, Trujillo testified for about seven hours, telling jurors she didn't intend to kill Andersson but was forced to after her life was endangered during a brutal fight that lasted more than an hour.

The 45-year-old woman faces up to life in prison.
