Juice has its benefits as part of a healthy breakfast. But more than 9,000 2-quart jugs of juice has no business on a busy highway on-ramp.
A tractor-trailer hauling apple and cranberry juice containers overturned around 10 p.m. Thursday at the westbound Interstate 30 on-ramp from Loop 12 in west Dallas.
Investigators told NBC 5 the driver was reportedly driving too fast and lost control.
A Texas Department of Transportation crew spent several hours trying to haul the juice away from the scene.
The ramp was closed until just before 5 a.m. Friday. Traffic continued during morning commutes.
Crews are still trying to cleanup the juice containers.
