Jarrett Stidham Announces His Intention to Transfer

After weeks of controversy and scandal, the biggest football domino for Baylor University has officially fallen. Backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham, who started games in place of the injured Seth Russell last season, has officially announced his intention to transfer before the upcoming season.

He announced this from his personal twitter without giving any indication where he intends to enroll this fall. Stidham was a prized recruit in the 2015 class and will likely have a long list of schools to choose from.

Stidham joins 12 players in the Baylor 2016 recruiting class that have chosen to separate themselves from the program amid a federal Title IX lawsuit.
