J. Erik Jonsson Central Library is hosting the Dallas Book Festival Saturday April 18 from noon to 5 p.m.
The event will feature more than 30 local authors and vendors as well as free, family fun activities.
The festival will include lectures, panel discussions, a publishing workshop, Spanish creative writing, poetry awards presented by the Texas Poetry Society, a performance by the Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas, arts & crafts presented by the Dallas Museum of Art, storytelling, a children's movie, folkloric dance performances and more than 30 local author booths.
J. Erik Jonsson Central Library is located at 1515 Young Street.
