Twin Wells Golf Course in Irving is show its age. City leaders are trying to figure out a way to renovate the course without the city having to foot the majority of the bill.

Between the mosquitoes, sinkholes, ball thieves and wafting industrial stench, Twin Wells may be one the worst golf courses in North Texas.

It's certainly the least-played municipal course in the region, according to a study that Irving officials are using to decide whether they will spend millions to save it.
