Irving Police Arrest One in Murder

    Police nab man in Illinois accused of harrasing women in Connecticut and New York.

    Irving Police have one man in custody in connection with a murder.

    On Tuesday, December 28, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call in the 4000 block of Avalon Avenue. Officers found 29 year-old Tyvanti Johnson in the street with several gunshot wounds. Johnson was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead at Parkland Hospital.

    34 year-old Mark Antonio Sample is in jail facing one charge off murder. His bond was set at $2,000,000.

    Officers say additional suspects might be identified as the investigation continues.
