Missing Iraq Veteran from North Texas Found

Johnson County sheriff's deputies have found a missing Iraq veteran nearly 1,000 miles from home.

Joseph Jennings, 33, was reported missing after he was last seen Dec. 29 after leaving his Venus residence with only his driver's license while wearing a dark blue jacket, overalls, black duty boots and an Iraqi Freedom baseball hat.

Nearly a week later, on Saturday, officials with the Johnson County Sheriff's Department said Jennings had been located in Indianapolis, Indiana and had spoken with his wife.

Jennings suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, a traumatic brain injury and depression but was believed to be uninjured following the disappearance.

Jennings was expected to be reunited with his wife in Indiana.

Officials did not say what compelled Jennings to travel to Indiana.
