Shoppers at a CVS Pharmacy in Carrollton got a bit of a scare Wednesday night when gunshots were reported to have been heard inside the store.
At about 8:30 p.m., Carrollton police received several reports of a shooting at the CVS on Rosemeade Parkway and Old Denton Road.
Officers arrived, closed off the intersection and surrounded the store.
An investigation revealed one person was injured, but not by a bullet.
A person was taken into custody, but as of this time not much else is known about the incident or what caused the injury.
