A semi truck erupted into flames, forcing the closure of several lanes of traffic on Interstate 20 in Dallas early Thursday morning. [[309763801,C]]
The driver pulled over when the truck carrying yogurt caught fire in the eastbound lanes of I-20 near Interstate 35E.
Dallas Fire-Rescue hazmat teams told NBC 5 that they had to pump the fuel out of the truck's tank before moving it.
Authorities said moving the truck would require a special piece of machinery, so they expected the truck to remain on the road for several hours.
Police said a flat tire was the likely source of the fire.
