Husband, Wife Identified After Bodies Found in Home

Identity of third person not revealed

Officials say a husband and wife have been identified as two of three people found dead in a Tarrant County home where on note on the door warned of tragedy inside.

Authorities have not released the identity of the third person in what sheriff's authorities say is a case apparently involving homicides and a suicide.

The medical examiner's office Tuesday identified two bodies as 58-year-old Michael Nichols and 56-year-old Patricia Nichols. The house near Eagle Mountain Lake was registered to the couple.

Deputies received a 911 call Monday from a caretaker who found the note posted on a door. Sheriff's spokesman Terry Grisham says a shotgun was recovered in the home.
