Houston police say they're investigating an 11-month-old boy's death after he was found in a bathtub filled with water.
Police are waiting for autopsy results for the toddler who died earlier this week. The Harris County Institute of Forensics Sciences is working to verify the boy's identity.
Authorities say an adult family friend was babysitting the boy and his three sisters while the children's parents were at the hospital. The baby fell into the bathtub that was being filled with water, but police say the bathroom door had been closed beforehand. Emergency responders were called, and the boy was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say no charges have been filed and that an investigation is continuing.
