A North Texas high school teacher was arrested after authorities said he bought alcohol for a student Monday.[[299306421,C]]
Henderson County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Botie Hillhouse said deputies learned that 29-year-old Eustace High School teacher Calvin Ray Kennedy bought alcohol for a student.
After investigating, authorities arrested Kennedy and placed him in the Henderson County Jail and charged him with purchasing alcohol for a minor, Hillhouse said.
Authorities said Kennedy was also arrested for driving while intoxicated in 2012.
Eustace is about 50 miles southeast of Dallas.
