Dallas Fire Department officials said they're investigating the cause of a house fire in Oak Cliff early Monday morning.
Authorities were patrolling in the Dallas Police Department helicopter when they noticed the fire at about 4:50 a.m.
Firefighters responded to the home in the 3600 block of Maryland Avenue and found heavy fire, officials said.
Officials said the home sustained significant damage, but no one was home at the time. No injuries were reported.
