Two women and two children were killed in a head-on crash in Argyle Saturday night, police say.
Police said a Nissan Rogue SUV carrying a woman and a child crossed over into the northbound lanes in the 800 block of Fort Worth Drive at about 8 p.m. and crashed head-on into a Volvo XC60.
The woman driving the Nissan — later identified as 26-year-old Ashli Morgan — was pronounced dead at the scene, Denton police official Orlando Hinojosa said.
Morgan's 4-year-old daughter, Lorelei Cotter, was transported to Children's Medical Center in Dallas where she died Sunday morning. She turned 4 years old April 1, according to the Dallas County Medical Examiners office.
A woman driving the Volvo died at a hospital and her young passenger was found dead at the scene of the crash, Hinojosa said. They were identified by friends as Emma Azuela de Shaffer and her daughter Emma "Tita" Shaffer.
Alcohol or speeding are not believed to be factors in the crash, Hinojosa said Sunday.
Morgan worked as a manager at First American Title.

"Hurts me to look at her picture. Lorelei too. I just can't believe this is happening," Morgan's father, Gordon Morgan, said. "She was a great mom and a great person."
A vigil was held Sunday evening at Liberty Christian School in Argyle for the Shaffers, and two assemblies will be held Monday to help students with the grieving process.
"Tita" was a sixth grader at the school, where her mom often volunteered, and both were also heavily involved at Champion Cheer in Southlake.
"She was very spontaneous and like a light," said friend and seventh grader Annslie Woodard. "Even on my bad days she was always there to cheer me up even if she was having a bad day she always had a smile on her face no matter what."
