A woman in Bedford got quite a surprise when a hawk flew through her open kitchen window.
The Red Tail hawk made himself at home while the woman called animal control.
Once the officer arrive, he was able to carefully catch the bird.
He took the fowl in the backyard and set him free.
No one was hurt.
