A 13-year-old Dallas girl says a man tried to kidnap her but she was able to get away.[[331529922,R]]
The teen told police she was walking along the 6700 block of Oleta Drive Saturday, near Woodmont Drive and S. Great Trinity Forest Way, when a man got out of a dark green car, grabbed her by the arm and tried to take her.
She described her attacker as Hispanic, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 250 pounds. The man was wearing a white V-neck T-shirt, bluejeans and black and red Air Jordan shoes.
The teen said the man's green car had cloth seats and a cross hanging from the rear view mirror.
The attempted kidnapping is the fourth reported in North Texas in the last two weeks. Similar cases have been reported in Lewisville, Arlington and Fort Worth. Police have not said if the cases are linked.
