Dallas Fire-Rescue Hazardous Materials crews were called out early Monday morning for a fuel spill at Fuel City.

Dispatches said someone hit a fuel pump at the popular gas station along Riverfront Boulevard, sending about 40 gallons of gas to spill into the street.

Some lanes were blocked during the cleanup, the pump that was hit has been closed.

A Dallas County Sheriff's deputy told NBC 5 someone actually paid for the gas and left.
