Emergency officials have allowed people to return to a building along Frisco Square after a prior evacuation for a gas leak Tuesday afternoon.
Construction crews struck the gas line outside 6195 Main Street, which includes restaurants and apartments.
As a precaution, people were evacuated from the building, and eastbound lanes on Main Street were closed.
The utility line repairs were completed by about 5 p.m.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported in the gas leak.
