A local couple's engagement has more than 500,000 views on YouTube.

A local couple's engagement is going viral on YouTube.

Ben Ambroso popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Tora Chandler in late April, but he didn't plan it alone. Ben and Tora are big fans of the game Borderlands, created by Gearbox Software in Plano.

Ben went to the company and asked for help with his proposal and within a week, the video was created.

"I was raised with the idea of if you go, go big. My mom always instilled the idea there's nothing wrong with asking and if you get told no the answer is the same," said Ambroso.

Ambroso played Chandler the video in front of all of their friends and she said yes. Just two weeks later, the video has more than half a million views on YouTube.
