The funeral for 6-year-old Alanna Gallagher will be held this week.

Gallagher will be laid to rest Thursday, July 11 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Richland Hills at 11 a.m. A burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth.

The girl's body was found last Monday on a residential street covered by only a tarp.  The investigation into her murder is ongoing and no arrests have been made.

This weekend, people in Saginaw wore purple ribbons in memory of the little girl.

Neighbors of the girl said they hope the ribbons will help keep the girl's murder on the minds of anyone who may have any information about the crime.

Saginaw police said they've received good information from tips and have leads on the case.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible.
