Frisco to Hold Town Hall Meeting

Frisco officials will host a town hall meeting at City Hall Monday evening to cover several issues pertinent to residents.

Representatives are schedule to discuss a proposed bond package, special election, road construction and emergency preparedness at 6:30 p.m. at the council chambers at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center at 6101 Frisco Square Boulevard.

City department representatives will staff 'information stations' beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the atrium.

Residents who cannot attend the meeting are encouraged to participate by dialing 888-409-5380 toll free. Registered voters will receive a phone call Monday night, inviting them to join the meeting.

At 7 p.m., staff will brief residents on the Nov. 4 special election, which is a bond election under consideration to help meet the city's future needs related to roads, public safety and facilities as well as year-round emergency preparedness for everything from severe weather to fire prevention.

Residents will be able to ask questions in person or by phone after staff presentations.

Town hall meetings last about two hours and are typically held three times each year.
