Foul Play Ruled Out in Body Found at Abilene Lake

Investigators have ruled out foul play in the death of a swimsuit-wearing woman whose body was discovered at a West Texas lake.

Abilene police say toxicology results are pending on 30-year-old Amanda Conaway, who recently moved to Abilene from Stephenville.

Conaway's body was discovered Wednesday night along the shore at Kirby Lake in what police initially called a suspicious death.

Authorities later determined Conaway may have had medical conditions that contributed to her death. Further details on those issues weren't immediately released.

Sgt. Lynn Beard said Thursday that Conaway was identified through her fingerprints.
